Assistant Sports Performance Coach
What do you enjoy most about coaching? The opportunity to make a positive impact on the youth, while teaching and equipping them with the proper fundamentals and tools for sports performance training is what I appreciate the most out of coaching. It is a privilege to work and watch kids work on their skills and grow as young people.
Who is your favorite client to work with? I enjoy working with clients who look forward to bettering themselves and working hard but also have a willingness to want to better those around them as well.
When did you start working for DFP? I began working for DFP in October of 2020.
Did you play any high school, college, and pro sports? Before graduating from Katy High School in 2012, I played football and ran track. I was a two-year varsity starter at safety for the Tigers and was fortunate to earn an opportunity to play in college at Texas Lutheran University (NCAA DIII). During my time at TLU, I was a three-year starter at free safety and was a three-time first-team All SCAC conference player. I was also fortunate enough to be a two-time member of the Division III All-Region team and was a finalist for the Cliff Harris Award in 2014.
